Hotel Policies
All guests in the room must be 21 years or older unless the parent/legal guardian is staying in the same room. Guests are required to confirm their identity by providing their valid government-issued photo identification.
Check-in time is 4 PM - 1 AM. Check-out time is 11 AM.
We are a smoke-free hotel. We do not permit smoking tobacco, marijuana, illegal drugs, e-cigarettes, vape pens, vaping, cartridges containing the liquid nicotine, or cigars in our facility. Penalties will apply - $250 charge to your card and possible eviction.
A valid major credit or debit card (Visa, Amex, Discover, or MasterCard) is required at check-in for a $100 hold to cover incidentals. Prepaid cards, CashApp cards, Chime, and similar cards or mobile payments are not accepted for this purpose. Cash may be used to settle the remaining balance of your stay but cannot be applied to the incidentals hold. The cardholder must be present at check-in with their ID and the credit card used for booking.
The $100 hold will be released within 48 hours of a successful room inspection after check-out. However, your bank determines when the hold is removed from your pending transactions—typically 3–7 business days for credit cards and 2–4 weeks for debit cards. This hold will not appear as a refund but will disappear from pending transactions. Please consult your bank for details on their pre-authorization policies, as the hotel cannot expedite or remove holds directly.
Holiday and special events may require a non-refundable prepayment up to 30 days prior to arrival. No early departures are allowed. Special events include but are not limited to New Years, Boat Show, Winter Music Conference & Ultra, Memorial Day weekend, and Art Basel.
Room occupancy is recommended not to exceed two persons unless booking our suites. Rollaway beds are not provided. Because of the historic nature of our hotels, most of the rooms are smaller than the average room, therefore not conducive to quad occupancy. If you exceed the maximum number of guests allowed, you will be asked to rent another guestroom or vacate the hotel.
A mandatory daily resort fee of $32.00 (subject to applicable lodging tax) will be added to the guest room account and includes a variety of amenities and services to lift the guest experience by providing added value to the guest's hotel stay. If you booked on the hotel's official site, the resort fee is already included in the grand total stay amount.
We require that all guests abide by 10:00 PM to 9 AM quiet hours.
No visitors after 10:00 PM. Visitors are not allowed to use guest amenities.
Our Housekeeping Staff will honor the “Do Not Disturb” ( “DND”) door hanger once during a twenty-four hour period indicating that the room is occupied.
No parties, loud disturbances and/or noise-nuisance are allowed or tolerated on these premises.
You are liable for any damage howsoever caused (whether by the deliberate, negligent, or reckless act) to the room, hotel’s premises, or property caused by you or any person in your party whether or not staying at the hotel during your stay. Any costs associated with repairs and/or replacement will be charged to the registered guest's credit card. In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason(s) that does not violate Federal or State laws.
Packages:
We accept packages up to 7 days prior to arrival.
Packages must be addressed to the guest name on the reservation. Fees apply as follows:
Under 1 lb – Free
1–5 lbs – $5
5–15 lbs – $10
15–25 lbs – $20
Over 25 lbs – $35
Oversized/Heavy – $150
Please note that long-term storage is not available, so we recommend scheduling deliveries to arrive during your stay.
Pet Policy:
We are a pet friendly hotel. A maximum of 2 dogs, 25 lbs. and under each, are welcome per stay. A $250 non-refundable cleaning fee is required. This fee is waived for certified service dogs. If your pet is a service animal, please provide the necessary documentation upon check-in and we will waive the $250 pet incidental hold. Service animals can never be left unattended in the room. Pet must be accompanied and leashed at all times. The registered guest will be held accountable for any compensation to be given to another guest due to the inconvenience caused by a registered pet or service animal on our property while renting a room from us.
Returning left behind or found items may incur a delivery and/or shipping charges to the recipient. Nothing contained herein is intended to or shall alter the statutory liability restrictions set forth in 509.111, Florida statutes, or any other federal, state, or local law, rule, regulation, or ordinance which limits liability for damages against a public lodging establishment or the operator of a public lodging establishment.
